all Belgian beers, only six can carry the name of " Trappist":
the Achel, the Chimay, the Orval, the Rochefort, the Westmalle and
the Westvleteren.
Only these six beers are brewed within an abbey. You will recognize
them thanks to the logo above. |
Our
Trappist is not filtered nor pasteurized. Its process of natural
fermentation and maturation allows the beer to preserve its flavor
and its aroma. It is brewed with the utmost care and only natural
ingredients are used. Westvleteren counts three different Trappists
beers. Each beer has its own characteristics:
